AT MCKINNEY Falls
Join Earth Native Wilderness School Summer Camps for a summer of nature and fun! Our unique outdoor nature camps get kids outside exploring, connecting, and learning old school style (aka before the TV had 400 channels...). Earth Native taps into innate child's passions to inspire learning and outdoor play that leads to adventure and deep longterm connections to the outdoors. Your kids will have a blast, we promise!
Earth Native offers three nature themed day camps for ages 4-12.
Camps run from 8am-2pm (with an option for a 4pm pick up) at the amazing McKinney Falls State Park in Southeast Austin. (Not to be confused with McKinney Roughs Nature Park.)
Choose from our popular Bushcraft Survival Camp, our super fun Nature Quest Camp or for your little ones our Forest Explorers Camp.

Nature Quest Camp
Join us for an awesome week of fun and learning in the woods. Nature Quest Camp has been one of our most popular summer camps for over 12 years and your child will LOVE it!
Have you ever stopped to notice the beauty of a flower, munched on some wild Wood Sorrel, found a neat wildlife track on the ground and wondered what creature put it there, or played a sneaky hiding game in the woods?
We do awesome things like this every day in Nature Quest Camp! Our skilled naturalist instructors will lead your children on daily explorations of the natural world. At Earth Native we see incredible value in time spent in nature and want to share some adventures with your kids.
From vivid stories told by our instructors to expertly crafted nature and awareness games to grand hikes and adventures along Onion Creek, there is never a dull moment.

Bushcraft Survival Camp
Join us for a week full of outdoor and survival skill fun and adventure! Who doesn’t want to know how to rub sticks together to make fire, how to make rope from plant fibers, navigate wild landscapes without fear of getting lost, what plants you can eat and which ones make good medicine, and how to build fun and effective shelters in the woods?
Your child will learn all of this and so much more in our super popular Bushcraft Survival Skills day camp! Our unique teaching style and curriculum utilizes grand nature games, riveting storytelling, and adventure to increase your child’s physical awareness and aid them in building strong connections to the outdoors. Your kids will leave this camp more confident exploring the outdoors and with awesome and unique skills and knowledge that will give them added confidence while exploring outside.
Forest Explorers Camp
Does your little one love playing outside?
Come track animals, try your hand at primitive fishing, and call out at circling hawks this summer! We won't miss a teachable moment as we explore the natural world together and wonder at the magic all around.
Each day will include a sharing circle, story, and time to hike and explore. We'll use developmentally appropriate games and activities to enrich our learning about the day's theme. From frog eggs to fox tails, we'll be having fun and making new connections with every step!
Let's create, touch, watch, get quiet, be loud, move, build, climb, smell, and most importantly, DISCOVER. Who knows where a shimmery spider web or incredible egret sighting could lead us for the day?
Your child will walk away with knowledge about local flora and fauna, new friendships, and an inspired sense of connection to nature!
