2026/27 Farm & Forest Roots Trial Day
At Earth Native, we have been taking immersive outdoor education to the next level since 2011! Joining an Earth Native program is truly something to be experienced rather than something to read about. As hard as we try, it isn’t possible to truly capture the magic of our programs with a blurb on our website.
The trial day was created specifically for families considering joining our Farm & Forest Roots program for the 2026/27 school year.

This is a wonderful opportunity for children to step into our outdoor classroom, meet instructors, and get a taste of what a day at Earth Native Farm & Forest Roots is like.

What Is the Farm & Forest Roots Trial Day?
During the trial day, children will:

Join an existing Farm & Forest Roots group for the day

Participate fully in nature-based learning, exploration, and outdoor skills
-
Spend the day outdoors building confidence, curiosity, and connection to the natural world
This is a drop-off program. Parents do not attend the trial day.

There will be a parent info session with our Executive Director from 2:30pm - 3:30pm.

Time: 9:30am-3:30pm
Parents drop off at 9:30am and return for a parent info session from 2:30-3:30pm.
Cost: $65
*The trial day is FREE for anyone who signs up for one of our Weekly Programs! (A $65 class credit will be deducted from your balance at registration.)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: It is mandatory to attend a Trial Day to enroll in the 2026-27 school year.
A: No, not at all! This is completely optional. If you have already decided to sign up for this program, there is no need to come to this day. We will offer a Parent Orientation at the beginning of the school year, which will include all of the major logistics points for new families.
Q: What are the hours?
A: Please drop your child off at 9:30am and then return at 2:30pm for the Parent Info Session.
Q: I am interested in your Monthly Program or another program. Is it ok to attend?
A: This Trial Day is for those interested in our FARM & FOREST ROOTS program only. If you are interested in one of our other programs, we recommend you try out our programs via one of our weekend classes (FYI, weekend classes often fill rather quickly, so grab a spot as soon as possible).
Q:I can’t make it on the scheduled days. Is there another day I can attend?
A: Unfortunately, due to our busy program schedule, we are only able to hold these specific Trial Days. If you are unable to make it to one of the Trial Days and would like your child to check out our programs, we would recommend signing them up for one of our 1-day Weekend Classes or a Summer Camp in order to get a feel for our programs.
