Overnight Camp Food

Each week we take a look at all dietary restrictions when meal planning and shopping and will have options for all those with dietary restrictions. Below is a sample menu of meals and snacks offered at our overnight camps. Subject to change.

SAMPLE MENU

BREAKFAST OPTIONS

  • Granola

  • Trail Mix

  • Hard Boiled Eggs

  • Milk (non-dairy milk options, as needed)

  • Fresh Fruit

  • Yogurt (non-dairy options, as needed)

  • Toast (gluten-free option, as needed)

  • Bagels

  • Cream Cheese (non-dairy option, as needed)

  • Jellys &  Jams

  • Butter (non-dairy options, as needed)

  • Peanut and/or Almond Butter, Sun-butter

SNACK OPTIONS

  • Fruit

  • Chips

  • Granola Bars

  • Fruit Leather

  • Trail Mix

  • Crackers

  • Pretzels

  • Dried Fruit

  • Bars

  • Pickles

  • Frozen Fruit 

LUNCH OPTIONS - Make your own sandwich and sides (snack options for sides)

  • Bread (gluten-free and nut-free, as needed)

  • Deli Sliced Ham and Chicken

  • Deli Sliced Cheese

  • Mayonnaise, mustard

  • Lettuce

  • Hummus

  • Peanut Butter, Almond Butter, Sun-butter (as needed)

  • Jelly and Jams

DINNERS (Varies from camp week to week. Will be a selection of 4 from below.)

 

Ground Beef Tacos or Sweet Potato Tacos with Black Beans and Brown Rice

Make your own taco with:

Seasoned ground beef

Seasoned sweet potatoes (with onion, garlic, bell peppers, taco seasoning)

Corn/flour tortillas

Shredded cheese

Salsa
Sour cream

Fresh avocado

Lettuce

Black Beans

Brown Rice

Pasta Salad with Chicken and Vegetables (Whole wheat or gluten-free pasta. Vegetarian/vegan option available, if needed)

Create your own with:

Seasoned Chicken

Bell Peppers

Kalamata olives

Garbanzo beans

Black beans

Cherry tomatoes

Red onion 

Parmesan cheese

 

Burgers and Home Fries (Veggie burger option, if needed)

On the side:

Hamburger Buns (gluten-free option, if needed)

Deli Sliced Cheddar

Ketchup, Mustard and Mayo

Sautéed onions & mushrooms

Lettuce

Tomato

Home Fries

Salad

Chicken stir-fry with Veggies and Rice (Vegetarian/vegan option available, if needed)

On the side:

Brown Rice

Toasted Cashews

Sliced Green Onions

Soy Sauce

Hot-dogs and Corn on the Cob over the fire (Vegetarian/vegan option available, if needed)

Hot-dogs (Applegate Brand - Organic, no-nitrates, grass-fed beef)

Corn on the cob

Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo

Salad or Coleslaw

Sweet Potato fries

Make your own Camp Fire Dinner (Foil Packets)

Make your own with:

Sausages (Vegetarian/vegan similar)

Assorted Veggies

Potatoes/Sweet Potatoes
