Natural Soap Making

Have you ever admired naturally made soaps and wonder how they were made? The soap making process can seem a little intimidating with terms like saponification, trace and lye solution. But don't fret, join Earth Native for an adventurous day of soap making and we'll take you through the whole process from start to finish. In this class you will find that there is no one right way to craft soap, but guiding principles for each process can keep you safe and increase your success as you creatively explore soap craft. The class will work through the making of hot process soaps and use the cure time to discuss other methods. Topics will include safety, the addition of additives, fragrance mixing and molds. At the end of the class you'll have some bars of beautiful rustic soap to take home, but more than that, you'll have the knowledge you need to continue making soap on your own!
