AMAZING LOCAL PLANTS

Let’s face it, plants just don’t get enough credit. The fact is, they are truly amazing! In this class we’re going to learn just how amazing they really are. Just to name a few (of literally hundreds of native plants): Yarrow, Plantain, Prickly Pear, Toothache Tree, Sugarberry, Turk’s Cap, Dock, Cucumber Plant, Wood Sorrel, and Greenbriar, can be eaten or used for medicine in the wild woods or right in your own backyard.

In this class we’ll peek into the wonderous world of plants and their uses. We’ll wander the landscape on plant hunting adventures sampling edibles and doctoring with medicinals along the way. Adventures will be intermixed with enlivening and fun nature games and awareness challenges. It’s certain to be a magical day!
