Program campouts require a lot of advance planning and preparation. In order to properly plan, prep materials, and shop for campouts, it is critical that we know how many students will be attending. While we certainly hope for maximum participation in these events, RSVPs that come in after the deadline require our staff to do additional last-minute work like an additional shopping trip or additional materials prep (often at overtime rates). This added expense puts a financial strain on our school's budget. Therefore, rather than denying families who do not RSVP before the deadline the ability to attend campout, we implement a late RSVP fee of $30 to help us cover these additional costs.
