For thousands of years, humans have been creating art through nature. Our ancestors’ sacred relationship with the natural world prompted them to express themselves through the materials around them. Humans have an innate need to create that starts at a young age and nature provides the perfect inspiration to encourage creativity and self-expression.

In this class, your child will create a work of art using natural materials that they forage. They will get the chance to explore the landscape and gather colorful leaves, river stones and other unique nature treasures to add to their work, all while learning about the land. Projects may include dazzling mobiles, colorful window and wall hangings, and beautiful lanterns that they can keep for years to come.

Your kiddos will be inspired by the wonders around them and bring home a masterpiece that can be enjoyed by the whole family. No artistic experience necessary!
