NATURAL POTTERY

Long before our modern day glass, metal, and plastic containers, native cultures all over the earth utilized the amazing natural resource of clay.

During this hands-on 2 day course you'll learn how to properly locate, harvest and process natural clay along with how to shape vessels using the coil method for collecting, storing and cooking.

On our second day of class (two weeks after the first class) we will explore ancient firing techniques in order to forever change our clay containers into fully functional primitive pottery for use in other classes or around your home.
