KNIFE CARVING & SAFETY
Is your child begging you to be allowed to use a knife, but you have concerns about their safety? In this all-day class, students will be instructed thoroughly according to the Knife Safety Certification that all students must pass through before being trusted to use a knife in our programs. In addition to knife safety, we will instruct your child about effective carving techniques, and they will get to bring home an object that they have carved themselves. Through fun skits and mnemonic devices, your children will be prepared with the knowledge and skills they need to be able to carve safely at home.

Please note that all youth classes are DROP-OFF classes. Parents do not attend.
KNIFE REQUIRED
Your child will need to have a Mora Craftline Basic Fixed Blade Knife (Stainless Steel blade) for this class. These are readily available to buy online or you can purchase one from us during registration.
