Useful Local Plants - Spring 

Spend a couple of beautiful spring days with us learning about useful local plants. There are hundreds of useful plants in our region that can be used for everything from food and medicine to tools and useful crafts. This class will explore some of the most common and useful local plants in Central Texas.

In this class you will:

Learn to make simple plant medicines

Eat some local tasty wild edibles

Make rope from plant fibers

Make simple tools

And even how to make an expedient needle and thread from an Agave plant

The class will be a combination of guided plant walks, lecture, and hands on crafting from local useful plant species.

Class Cost: $65 per person

Class Times: 9am-3:30pm

*This is an ADULT class but is open to ages of 12 and up. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult participant with a 1:1 ratio.
