Survival Bows

A bow is one of the oldest and coolest natural tools that humans have ever created! In this class we will teach you how to craft a quick and powerful bow using local Ash Juniper or “Cedar” using nothing but a good quality outdoor knife and a hatchet. In just a matter of hours you will take a raw freshly cut sapling and turn it into an arrow shooting machine. We hope you join us at this super fun and informative class.

The class will cover:

Proper selection and harvesting Ash Juniper staves

New methods for getting the most out of your camp knife

Stave reduction and basic bow tillering

Methods for stringing your new bow

Basic instinctive archery shooting techniques
